Donation Refund Policy

Standard NGO Refund Notice

As donations are immediately deployed for active operations (e.g., Ambulance deployment), charitable contributions are non-refundable under Indian NGO regulatory standards.

As a registered public charitable trust, the Cheeta Foundation operates under strict financial compliance and project execution mandates. Consequently, all voluntary donations made toward our initiatives are considered final and non-refundable. Because charitable contributions are immediately allocated to active, life-saving field operations—such as securing aviation fuel for the Helicopter Ambulance, funding legal interventions for the Anti-Corruption Wing, or organizing Makkal Parliament sessions—we cannot reverse transactions once funds are deployed. We urge all donors to exercise due diligence and verify their contribution amounts before completing a transaction. We do, however, acknowledge that technical anomalies can occur. Exceptions to our no-refund policy are strictly limited to the following scenarios: (a) unauthorized fraudulent transactions made without the cardholder's knowledge, or (b) duplicate billing resulting from a technical malfunction or payment gateway timeout. If you experience such an anomaly, you must notify us within 7 calendar days of the transaction date. Refund requests must be directed to support@cheeta.in, accompanied by your official receipt ID, date of transaction, and proof of the duplicate deduction. Our financial auditing team will review the claim within 10 to 15 business days. Approved refunds will be credited back to the original method of payment, minus any processing fees levied by the payment gateway.
